Beyond Business

Salil's work

Dr. Bhende has participated in multiple international dental mission trips dedicated to providing compassionate dental care to underserved communities around the world. These mission efforts have included one trip to Haiti, two trips to Romania, and one trip to Brazil. During these missions, the team provided essential dental services including extractions, fillings, and cleanings to patients who otherwise had little to no access to dental care. Approximately 500 patients were treated in Haiti, 250 patients during each Romania trip, and approximately 350 patients in Brazil. Many individuals and families walked for hours just to receive care, and their gratitude and kindness left a lasting impact on the entire team. The value of donated services is estimated to be $350,000.00. In addition to providing dental treatment, the missions also included time spent serving local orphanages and schools, building meaningful relationships within the communities and supporting children and families in with Work was done with Finding Hope and Cornerstone World Missions. Closer to home, Dr. Bhende is deeply committed to local mission work and community outreach. He actively serves veterans through organizations including Helping Veterans, Veterans Core Group, and several mobile dental clinic bus programs that provide care to lower-income individuals and underserved populations. On a regular basis, Dr. Bhende provides dental care to approximately 50 veterans each month, continuing his passion for service both locally and internationally.
